The Japanese car manufacturer announced that in April, the updated version of the Subaru XV CrossStrek 2013 model year will be presented in New York. Recall our readers that the concept of the crossover was presented back in 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Note that the XV Crosstrek is essentially Subaru Impreza, only with increased road clearance, 17-inch alloy disks and revised body details.
The Japanese crossover is equipped with 2. 0 liter engine of which is even about 150 horsepower. The power unit is equipped with the choice of the buyer, either a five -speed mechanical transmission, or a five -speed modern automatic checkpoint. Representatives of the Japanese company Subaru say that the novelty is one of the most economical cars in its class. If you compare the XV CrossStrek with Impreza, then the crossover has a little more open room for the legs of the rear passengers and a more spacious trunk. Regarding the design, then there are practically no differences between the two models. From the equipment, it is worth noting the driver’s knees pillows, the Vehicle Dynamics Control system, which is responsible for stable traction, a new braking system. In the maximum configuration, the car has a leather salon, an expensive multimedia system with 6, 1 inch sensor LCDs, satellite navigation and the ability to connect iPod by USB or Bluetooth means. More details about the trim levels, cost and date of start of sales will be announced at the auto show in New York, already in April this year.
